Butterfly pea flower is native to tropical Asia and it’s called Dok Anchan in Thailand. Butterfly pea flower is rich in anthocyanins which are the antioxidant compounds responsible for its unique color. Because of this, butterfly pea flower is used in cosmetics or a natural dye for foods, drinks, and textiles.
